About Mamanuca.com

An independent guide to twenty small islands and the boats that link them.

Mamanuca.com is an independent travel guide covering the Mamanuca Islands, their gateway at Port Denarau and the neighbouring Yasawas — written to be genuinely useful whether you have a single day for a cruise or two weeks to hop between islands.

What we cover

  • Which island suits which traveller, compared honestly.
  • How ferries, water taxis, seaplanes and helicopters work.
  • Which day cruises are worth booking, ranked and updated as ratings change.
  • Where to sleep, island by island and on the mainland.
  • When to come, including cyclone season, and how to behave as a guest in a Fijian village.

How we research

Tour details, ratings and prices come directly from GetYourGuide; accommodation listings from Trip.com. Journey times, routes and practical details are checked against operators, official sources and booking platforms, and reviewed regularly. Where a figure varies — ferry times, taxi fares, age limits — we give a range and say so, rather than pretend to a precision that does not exist.

Island tourism changes quickly: resorts are renovated, renamed and occasionally closed, and boat routes are redrawn each season. We flag what is uncertain and ask you to confirm anything critical before you rely on it.

How the site is funded

We are a GetYourGuide affiliate partner and link to Trip.com for accommodation. If you book through a link on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. There is no advertising, no sponsored content and no paid inclusion in any ranking. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Plan your island days

Twenty islands, one very blue lagoon

Sail to a sandbank, snorkel a coral garden, eat pizza on a floating bar or spend the day at an island resort. Compare day cruises from Port Denarau and book in a couple of taps.
